The Hitchiner Invention Use Award goes to Ryan Mix

Congratulations to Ryan Mix, a Maintenance Specialist A at Hitchiner Manufacturing Co., Inc. who was recently recognized by Hitchiner with an Invention Use Award.  Ryan joined Hitchiner in April of 2019 with no prior experience in the investment casting industry.  It was his “fresh set of eyes” which allowed him to find a solution to a problem which significantly increased the useful life of a consumable component used in the equipment, resulting in significant cost benefit.  Hitchiner recognizes employees with an Invention Use Award when an idea is used in production for two years.  Ryan’s invention has been in use for only three months, but, it was of such significance that he was recognized early. Way to go Ryan!
