BBC World comes to Milford

A crew from BBC News came to visit Hitchiner recently to tape a segment for BBC World that is scheduled to air this June.

The story was on teenagers finding careers outside of the traditional service sectors. The BBC  interviewed Danny Morse, a Hitchiner Belt Grinder, who came to the company through the MYTURN program.  Hitchiner staff talked about why the company hires teenagers – the benefits to the company, and the impact of having younger workers. Hitchiner provides work-based learning opportunities for teens.

In the photos, from BBC News were Zoe Thomas (Producer), Joe Miller (Business Reporter).
