What To Know About Tuition Reimbursement Jobs In New Hampshire
Learn About Tuition Reimbursement Jobs
Deciding to go back to school is a big decision. First, you must choose what to study, then where to take classes and finally how you are going to pay for it while covering your living expenses like housing. Advanced degrees can be expensive, so having a job that will help fund the classes you need can be the difference between finishing your degree and not. If you already have a job and would like to know more about tuition reimbursement, or you are looking into tuition reimbursement jobs that will allow you to advance your career, here are a few things to consider.
Finding what your employer offers
Some companies, like Hitchiner Manufacturing, provide tuition reimbursement to recruit the best employees available and to ensure our most talented workers grow within our company. Many companies find these programs result in a better-trained workforce, and employers benefit from greater employee loyalty and less turnover. If you are wondering if your company offers tuition reimbursement jobs, speak to your company’s Human Resources representative. They will explain the specific requirements and options for tuition reimbursement if it is part of the benefits they offer. Some companies only cover professional certifications and college courses, but not classes toward a degree program. Other companies set caps or limits on the amount per employee or course. In some cases, more funding is available for employees with more seniority. With many great post-secondary schools in New Hampshire, there are many opportunities to study at a community college, technical college or four-year university near your home.

Students must pass 13 classes that train for entry-level salaried employment opportunities at Hitchiner Manufacturing. The classes also prepare students for long-term careers, including drafting, CAD, basic math, communication, and public speaking skills. It takes about three years to complete the full certificate program.
Is there a tuition reimbursement job in your field?
If you are looking for a tuition reimbursement job to cover your school costs, remember the classes you need to take must be applicable to the company where you work. Manufacturing companies often look for staff to study engineering and computer sciences. Jobs that are in the highest demand are the most likely to offer this benefit. For a field where competition is fierce, it can be more difficult. In New Hampshire, unemployment is low - under 3 percent - and many companies are offering more generous benefits to attract top talent that can include tuition reimbursement jobs.
